Zotac VR Go, we had already warned you.
Zotac VR Go is what is beginning to be known in the “world” as backpack computers or backpack format. We recently warned you that manufacturers are seeing the possibility of their products reaching the general public in what is expected to be a true virtual reality boom. The pioneer was the MSI VR One; now Zotac shows its proposal.
Zotac VR Go, improving the present
Zotac VR Go is a backpack that hides a powerful hardware very similar to the already mentioned MSI VR One; although, certainly, it seems to improve the design and performance of the first one somewhat.
As for the chosen hardware base, they are very similar: Quad-core Intel i7-6700T processor together with graphics card Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 with Pascal architecture and 8GB GDDR5 memory. It has 240GB internal memory M.2 SATA SSD and the autonomy of Its two 6600 mAh Li-ion batteries each reach two hours of use. This combination is becoming known as “VR ready.”
It has caught our attention that the backpack is removable, which allows the box to be separated from the fastening straps, as well as being able to redirect the heat produced away from the body.
Finally, highlight your high connectivity with 6 ports USB 3.0, 3 HDMI 2.0, 2 DisplayPort 1.3, Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. Awesome! and very pretty.
