Xiaomi Mi A3 receives new update to Android 11

Last year Xiaomi decided to end its way in the program Android One (after only three seasons of the debut of Mi A1), the one that allowed you to experience a version of the Google operating system no layers of customization on your latest phones. The last model was the Xiaomi Mi A3, which you can already enjoy from the last day of Android 11 with all its features.

Although users could already experience Android 11 on this particular model, from today one of the newest functions of this version is included, such as the screen recorder, something that apparently Xiaomi had forgotten to integrate when it resumed the update of the operating system in the first days of January.

Xiaomi Mi A3 already allows you to record the phone screen

Xiaomi Mi A3 has been a real headache for the Chinese brand, since since its launch it has had constant performance problems with each of its updates, so much so that on December 31, 2020, it offered the step to Android 11 but found that many phones were locked and had no possible solution (logically, this update was withdrawn shortly after).

Later, Android 11 deployment resumed without this dangerous performance glitch but users found it came without the screen recorder. That is why the Xiaomi Mi A3 until now had never been completely updated as is expected in Smartphones with Android One.

Now, Xiaomi is sending the Xiaomi Mi A3 the January security patch that needs a download of a size of 329 MB and inside it includes the screen capturer that had been left outside the last time. Undoubtedly this will be the last relevant update that the phone has and that means a bittersweet end for one of the most attractive mid-range mobile lines of the Chinese manufacturer.
