The Woxter X-200 Pro It is a fairly affordable tablet aimed at the entry-level range that is emerging as a discreet but solid option for the day-to-day. In addition, it is appropriate to be your secondary mobile device, the one you normally use to relax on the sofa while watching series / movies on its large 10.1-inch screen, or to kill time in games and social networks when your mobile is charging. If you are interested in knowing it in detail, you have come to the right place.

We can start by saying that it is the Pro model of another tablet from this Spanish manufacturer, the Woxter X-200, but that’s not very important due to how close they are in terms of specs and price. Be that as it may, the Woxter X-200 Pro offers us a 10.1-inch HD panel, while inside lies a MediaTek brand quad-core processor along with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. At the center of the experience we have the Android 11 operating system, which replaces the Android 9 PIE version present in the original model.

Design and presentation

There really is not much to say in this regard, it is a basic tablet and made mainly of plastic materials, although we can highlight the fact that it is thinner and lighter than its predecessor, measuring 244 x 172.5 x 9.6 mm and reducing the weight to 485 grams. Its dimensions are considerable as well, but it is a 10.1-inch tablet, so it was to be expected.

Woxter X-200 Pro - Design

If we take the time to detail it we will notice a textured back cover, where the company logo and the rear camera lie at the top of it. Another aspect that we will notice is how each port and button is well marked on it. It is available in a single color presentation, which would be black.

If we go to the screen we will notice acceptable bezels on the sides, while at the top and bottom they are considerably thicker. That said, the tablet mounts a 10.1-inch diagonal IPS panel, resulting in a 16:10 aspect ratio and, more importantly, a 1,280 x 800 pixel HD resolution, which in our opinion is about the minimum we could expect from a decent tablet in 2021.

Woxter X-200 Pro

It is not the best panel on the market, but it takes good advantage of when watching movies or series in streaming, as well as when opening office apps, reading documents, books and why not, playing one or another game, although like You will see shortly, the Woxter X-200 Pro is clearly not a practical device for the latter purpose.

Hardware and Features

On the inside the Woxter X-200 Pro is as humble a device as it is on the outside, based on a 1.3Ghz quad-core MediaTek MTK8167 processor to boost the device. This chipset is assisted by a PowerVR GE8300 GPU that does not stand out for its power either. Accompanying this set we expect 3GB of DDR3 type RAM and 64GB of internal storage to store our files.

We can agree that this is not a very powerful combination, but for the price we get it, it is the usual. In this sense, we can only recommend this tablet as a secondary or temporary entertainment device, either to consume multimedia content or to play light and popular titles to pass the time. With this in mind, it is a decent tablet with an equally decent amount of storage, doubling the figure offered by the base model and providing the option to add more memory through the Micro-SD slot (maximum 64GB).

Woxter X-200 Pro ships with Android 11 out of the box

For its part, 5,000mAh battery offers adequate autonomy for everyday use and we will hardly find a superior offer in this same market segment.

When it comes to the operating system, it awaits us Android 11Although beware, there are variants of this same tablet that ship with Android 9 PIE. In this sense, it is convenient for us to get it in its version with Android 11 pre-installed due to the optimizations, security improvements and additional functions that the most recent version provides us.

Other features

In terms of connectivity, this tablet is provided with Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.0 on the wireless front, while in the field of physical connections we have a Mini-HDMI output to connect it to an external screen and project the content there. Similarly, it has a 3.5mm Jack and a Micro-USB port for data transfer (OTG compatible) and battery charging. In 2021 the absence of a USB Type-C port is objectionable even in low-end devices, so we have to subtract points for that.

Woxter X-200 Pro - Rear

Finally, the Woxter X-200 Pro consists of two cameras (one front and one rear) of 5MP each to take occasional photographs, video calls and little else, since their quality is very low.

Availability and price of the Woxter X-200 Pro

If this Spanish tablet has caught your attention, let us inform you that it is available for purchase through the always reliable Amazon.com store; but it is also for sale at PC Components for an extremely affordable price and with Android 11 out of the box. Another recommended option is to acquire it from the MediaMarkt chain. As always, choose the option that suits you best or offers the best price at that time.
