The Galaxy Watch 5 and 5 Pro leak a week before the big event

The Galaxy Unpacked event is just around the corner, and in it we will know the most important Samsung devices for the rest of the year. In it, the reveal of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Z Flip folding phones is expected, as well as the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro smart watches ; And who knows, maybe there are other surprises. 

With that in mind, it is not necessary to wait for August 10, 2022 to get a good idea of ​​​​what these devices will offer, since the information leaks have been extensive and numerous. And this time we will review those concerning the next smart watches from Samsung. 

Galaxy Watch 5 and 5 Pro 

According to 91Mobiles and tipster EvLeaks, the Galaxy Watch 5 and 5 Pro will look like this and will have the following features : 

For starters, the Galaxy Watch 5 will be a direct sequel to the Galaxy Watch 4 and will come in two sizes: 40mm and 44mm . Likewise, it will be presented in rose gold, graphite and silver colors for the 40mm variant, meanwhile, the 44mm will be available in graphite, silver and sapphire. For its part, the Pro version will be launched in titanium gray, black and will only exist in 45mm size .

In terms of design, the base model will opt for a sporty and more youthful look , while its older brother (Pro) will sport a more formal and elegant appearance in line with the Galaxy watch 4 Classic. 

Be that as it may, both models will feature a super AMOLED screen and will be IP68 certified against water and dust . Something that we can also expect is a temperature sensor with the supposed ability to detect if the user has a fever. 

Finally, there is the issue of prices, where a report mentions that the basic Galaxy Watch 5 would cost 260 euros , that in its 40mm variant. The 44mm variant would be priced at 287 euros. Then we have the  45mm Watch 5 Pro , whose price tag is supposed to be €430.89 .
