Even if you are aware of the news in the mobile world you probably don’t know every single manufacturer out there today, even more so when it comes to independent brands that seek originality and differentiate themselves from the rest based on a “Premium” style. For example, one of the last to arrive is the Techno phantom V Fold.
Tecno Phantom V Fold is a new high-end smartphone that it has said present during the Mobile World Congress 2023, although at the moment it has not confirmed its launch on European lands and it will probably only be achieved through importation. The most interesting thing about it is its price of 1099 euroswhich although it is not cheap by any means, it is 700 euros less than what the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 cost.

Clearly this Smartphone follows in the footsteps of Samsung’s folding mobile and that other brands such as Motorola have also “copied” with their Razr model. This means a dual screen layout, a smaller outer one for when it is folded and a larger one for multimedia consumption. Its creators point out that you can open and close it 200,000 times without generating marks on the internal panel.

In addition to this there is a 5000 mAh capacity battery with support for 45W fast charging and a rear camera triple camera system (50-megapixel + 50-megapixel 2x zoom telephoto + 13-megapixel wide-angle) accompanied by up to two front cameras (32-megapixel for use in folded mode and 16-megapixel in unfolded mode).
Finally, the size of the screens is quite large and with few differences between the two, 7.85 inches with a native resolution of 2296 x 2000 pixels when unfolded and 6.42 inches with a resolution of 2550 x 1080 pixels when folded in half. In both cases, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz is achieved.
