OnePlus 9RT, a new OnePlus flagship treads the ground

OnePlus has presented a new version of the 9R, exhibiting improvements in the field of performance, the camera and also the screen, we are talking about the new OnePlus 9RT and today we are here to unravel its offer.

OnePlus 9RT What’s new?

Well it all starts with a 6.62-inch AMOLED screen manufactured by Samsung, which offers us a FullHD resolution (2,400 x 1,080 pixels), support for HDR10 +, sRGB and P3 color gamut and, finally, a rate of 120Hz cooling, so it is emerging as an outstanding mobile to play.

In this sense, we do not say the latter without grounds, since the touch sampling rate amounts to 600Hz and the terminal offers 4D haptic response, as well as Wi-Fi antennas strategically positioned on the chassis that guarantee an uninterrupted signal when playing games. We almost forgot to mention the stereo speakers, which are endowed with Dolby Atmos sound.

Unlike the 9R, the OnePlus 9RT opts for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip, which can be accompanied by 8GB or 12GB of RAM. Similarly, the internal storage can be 128GB or 256GB. Additionally, the 9RT features a 20% more effective heat sink than the standard OnePlus 9, which should translate into better sustained performance over time.

On the other hand, the battery has not changed, it is the same 4,500mAh unit with 65W fast charge.

The operating system will be Android in its version number 12 next to the emblematic ColorOS 12 layer. And in terms of connectivity, it is a 5G phone with two SIM cards, it also supports Wi-Fi 6 (ax, 2 × 2 MIMO), Bluetooth 5.2 (including LDAC and AAC codecs) and NFC.

Cameras

Moving on to the cameras, we will find a rather unique triple setup. The 9R inherited its camera from the 8T, but the OnePlus 9RT mixes and matches elements of both, starting with the 50MP main camera, which uses the same Sony IMX766 sensor present in the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro.

This 1 / 1.56 ”sensor has modern features like DOL-HDR. Its 1.0 µm pixels are positioned behind an f / 1.8 aperture and there is pixel matching technology (4 in 1). To top it off, it is endowed with optical image stabilization and that’s just the main sensor so it’s a formidable photo set. The 123 ° ultra-wide camera has a more modest 16MP sensor and an f / 2.2 lens. The last member is a 2MP macro camera.

In the meantime, 12GB + 256GB version costs 3,799 yuan, which hypothetically would be 510 euros.
