News on Twitter, the ‘For You’ feed undergoes a controversial change
The tycoon Elon Musk has made some changes in Twitter since he took over the platform. Some of these adjustments have become controversial, however, none has raised as much dust as the one referring to its subscription system. Everything indicates that users will be divided between those who pay to have certain privileges, such as verified accounts and users who do not opt for verification.
This clearly envisions a future in which those who cannot or do not want to pay will have to settle for a more basic version of Twitter. In short, Elon Musk is after the magic formula to get Twitter to make money.
However, this is not all, the platform has also undergone changes in the way content is presented to Twitter users. Proof of this is section called ‘For You’, an addition that has generated a lot of controversy among tile users. Here it is intended to show the tweets that should interest users, but this has opened a gap so that unwanted content and accounts can slip through.
Starting April 15th, only verified accounts will be eligible to be in For You recommendations.
The is the only realistic way to address advanced AI bot swarms taking over. It is otherwise a hopeless losing battle.
Voting in polls will require verification for the same reason.

Elon Musk will also change how verified accounts work On twitter
Anyway, the changes continue, apparently this recommendation format called For you, it will become exclusive from April 15 to verified accounts. In other words, those who wish to appear in this feed must pay an approximate price of eight euros.
These decisions by Elon Musk will end the so far precarious equality on the platform. In short, the blue verification symbol will only be kept by those who pay.
Behind these controversial decisions is what Elon Musk identifies as a campaign against fake accounts. In this regard, he pointed out the following: “it is the only realistic way to deal with swarms of advanced bots and artificial intelligence.”
In this same vein, the legacy blue checkmarks from before the new Twitter Blue are also destined to disappear. So Twitter fans are in for a pretty hectic April characterized by a lot of adjustments. We will wait to see how these changes begin to be applied and the reactions of the users.
