A technology that had been in development for a long time is already with us, it is about Lifi, the first Wifi standard that uses visible light in the communication system. This advance comes through oledcomm, a company that after 10 years of development has managed to integrate this innovation into a tablet ready to break into the market, which they have named lifimaxtab.

This tablet is the first of its kind to have an Android system and visible light communication to be commercially tested.

Going into details, the tablet has a 10-inch screen with FULLHD + resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio. It is complemented by two cameras; the front 2 megapixels and the rear 5 megapixels. Inside, it is equipped with a 2GHz eight-core MediaTek MTK6762 chip with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal space.

All innovation must be receptive to be able to become widespread and it all depends on whether its technology proves to contribute something different from the previous ones. That is why we are going to see what else the Oledcomm LiFiMaxTab has to contribute.
