lenovo has just increased its catalog with the announcement of two new tablets and a 16-inch chromebook. We are referring to the Lenovo Tab P11, P11 Pro and the new Lenovo ideapad 5i Chromebook, devices about which we already told you everything. To begin with, they are two devices that could be classified between the mid-range and mid-high range with quite affordable and competitive prices.
2nd Gen Lenovo Tab P11 Pro and Lenovo Tab P11
Going into details, the Lenovo P11 Pro arrives with a OLED display with 2.5K resolution and a high refresh rate. This includes support for Dolby Vision and HDR+.
Regarding the processor, this is the MediaTek Kompanio 1300Twhich is considered of medium-high range with a power beyond doubt. Its memory is 8+256 GB. It also boasts an 8,200mAh battery and is compatible with Lenovo accessories on the market, so it can be used with a stylus or keyboard. For now it comes with Android 12 upgradeable to Android 14 in the future.
For its part, the Lenovo Tab 11 is a somewhat simpler model, which does not deprive it of having an 11.5-inch LCD screen. It also uses a MediaTek processor, in this case the Helium G99, classifiable as low-middle range. However, it stands out for its stereo sound and a 2K resolution on the panel; its battery is 8,000mAh. Like the Lenovo Tab P11 Pro, it runs Android 12 and will also be updated to Android 14.
IdeaPad 5i Chromebook
Another novelty from Lenovo is the IdeaPad 5i “high-end” Chromebook with ChromeOS operating system. This device sports a 16-inch borderless screen with 2.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate that ensures great visual fluidity.
In terms of hardware, it incorporates a Intel Core i3-1215U processor or an Intel Pentium 8505 depending on the version chosen. It is important to know that it also incorporates various storage models, either SSD of 256/512GB or 64/128GB eMMC. In a few words, an ideal set for school or for work at home.
In addition, the Lenovo Tab 11 comes with a battery designed to give 12 hours of performance; and includes speakers of proven quality and a Web Cam FHD.
Availability and price
- The Lenovo IdeaPad 5i Chromebook (16”, 7) will cost starting at 549 euros and is expected to be available from October 2022.
- The Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2na Gen) will have a cost from 499 euro and it is expected to be available from September 2022.
- The Lenovo Tab P11 (2na Gen) will have a cost from 299 euros and it is expected to be available from November 2022.
