Injoo is a Chinese manufacturer that you may have heard of if you are from Spain, since in 2018 the brand fully established itself in the country and substantially diversified its catalog of devices, producing much more than mobile phones and tablets, such as example air purifier innjoo Purifier One. However, this time we turn our attention to one of those devices in which the brand originally specialized, a tablet: the Innjoo superb.

In this sense, we are looking at a budget tablet that you can easily get under the £100 mark, it’s nothing special, but it has its charms and is more than decent for general use. It offers us a wide 10.1-inch screen, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 4,000mAh battery to get a few good hours of use out of it, and 3G network connectivity to keep us always in touch. If you are interested in learning more about it, you have come to the right place.

This is the Superb

The Innjoo Superb doesn’t stand out for looks, but its packaging doesn’t leave much to be desired either, on the contrary, we love the fact that it’s very thin, barely 1cm deep, and when it comes to affordable tablets, that’s saying a lot.

Innjoo Superb - Design

In this sense, it has dimensions of size 22 x 16 x 1cm and it weighs only 560 grams, which is not bad for a device of this size. That said, we find it available in two color presentations: black and white. In both cases it consists of a textured plastic back cover that simulates the finish of brushed metal, but it is obviously plastic.

At the front we come across a 10.1-inch IPS displaywhich offers a HD resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels, so it meets the minimum and nothing more. As can be seen in the images, it exhibits wide bezels both on the sides and on the chin and forehead. We could criticize that outdated look that it has, but for the price we will hardly find something better.

hardware and features

In the realm of hardware it is endowed with a humble Spreadtrum SC7731 quad-core chip at 1.3Ghzwhich is accompanied by only 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. If we wish, we can expand the storage by means of a Micro-SD card of maximum 64GB.

As you will see, it is hardware tailored to the price, which provides adjusted performance for basic tasks and day-to-day applications. We certainly can’t recommend it for gaming or productivity-demanding apps, but for everything else, it’s okay as long as we temper our expectations.

Innjoo Superb Black

In another order of ideas, it is fed by a 4,000mAh battery that guarantees 5 hours with standard use, although the manufacturer promises up to 15 hours of local video playback. If you were hoping for fast charging or perhaps a USB Type-C port you’ll be disappointed, there’s none of that here.

On the other hand, the operating system is run by Android 9which at the time of writing is already a bit old, though that’s always the norm with budget tablets.

In terms of connectivity, the fact that it has a SIM and supports 3G networks, so we can use it as a mobile, but yes, browsing will be relatively slow due to the type of network. Naturally, the tablet also consists of Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.

When it comes to photography we can’t expect much either, this has never been the forte of tablets. In this case all we have to work with is a 2MP rear camera with flash and a 0.3MP selfiesurely your mobile has better sensors, so it is not worth bothering with this one.

Innjoo SuperB Plus and Innjoo SuperB Lite

If after knowing the characteristics of the Innjoo Superb you feel that it lacks a little more to satisfy your needs, you may be interested in considering the Innjoo Superb Pluswhich includes certain important advantages, such as 4G connectivity instead of 3G.

It’s also a slightly more powerful model, as can be seen from its spec sheet; what a list MTK6739 octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM instead of 2GB. Another reason to consider the Innjoo SuperB Plusis the fact that it has a 5,000mAh battery with greater autonomy and, in addition, it incorporates a modern USB type-C port.

Innjoo Superb Plus

The rest is identical to its younger sister, and we can only physically differentiate them by the silver color that characterizes the Plus model.

In the same way, it is our duty to inform that there is another variant called Innjoo Super Liteand as far as we know it is exactly the same as the standard model, but with a few minor differences: it has 16GB of ROM instead of 32GB and therefore the Innjoo Superb Lite is a few euros cheaper.
