Google Chrome for Android test with button to follow websites

Historically, interest in a particular website led users to subscribe to your news feed or perhaps receive updates to your email address. However, In no time this could be simplified by Google Chrome and a follow button that is already in the early stages of testing.

Basically the “Follow” button has been found in the App menu of the Canary version of Chrome for Android, that test version that is updated at a much more constant rate to add new functions and fix bugs at the cost of less stability. Will it arrive in no time at the definitive Google browser?

Those responsible for finding this new feature have mentioned that this button does not work at the moment, because when clicking on it nothing happens in the browser. This is because it is probably in the early stages of development (something that is also happening with YouTube and its TikTok-like videos).

Many users imagine that this feature will allow quick access to a list of websites that one is following, constantly and automatically updated each time a new entry is published in reverse chronological order so that it is not necessary to enter each website separately to be informed. However, there are no examples yet of how it would look implemented.

At the moment the Californian giant allows any user on Android to follow specific topics that interest them in the Google application and thus it shows a series of recommended news, at the same time that they are shown in the “Discover” feed on the new tab page of Chrome in Android, but unfortunately the sources of information are chosen at random by the Google algorithm.

Now it will subtract wait for the next Chrome Canary releases and test its initial operation before you can get to the final version throughout the following months of the year. Would it be useful for you to be able to follow your favorite websites from the browser menu itself?
