Giving Tuesday, Huawei joins this solidarity initiative

Black Friday and Cyber Monday is no longer the only thing that is celebrated around these dates. Now November 30 also marks the beginning of the Giving Tuesday, also known as a Day to Give, which is an alternative to the consumerism and waste that characterizes the celebrations of these dates. This solidarity initiative does not seek profit, but social benefit through economic activities, events and donations in which any person, organization or company can participate. In this sense, the renowned Chinese manufacturer Huawei has just joined the initiative and will donate 5,000 euros to the Food Bank of Spain on behalf of users, who will only have to contribute through clicks.

The only thing that Huawei asks of its users is to reach 50,000 visits to the campaign website; that is, we can help with just a couple of clicks on our mobile.

50,000 views is really not a lot when it comes to the power of the internet, so the goal will surely be met in no time.

Going into details, there are two ways to access the campaign site, the first is through the Huawei browser, which is installed by default on Huawei phones. By accessing the campaign through one of the top icons on the home page, it will be enough to count our visit.

The second method is through the Huawei Assistant cards, which –among many things- provide the user with access to relevant services and content.

Certainly the company seeks to promote the Huawei Mobile Services ecosystem and the AppGallery applications through this initiative; but at least he does it by contributing to a noble cause such as the #GivingTuesday.

Finally, users can contribute to the Giving Tuesday campaign from November 30 to December 19. Also, there is no participation limit for users, each visit will be counted as such, even if it is by reloading the campaign page over and over again.
