Apple Music voice plan comes with iOS 15.2

With the release of the Release Candidates of iOS 15.2, iPadOS 15.2 and macOS 12.1, many new features are confirmed for Apple devices. Among these novelties is the arrival of the Apple Music voice plan to iPhone, iPad and Mac.

For those of you unfamiliar with the Apple Music voice plan; This Apple Music subscription mode was designed to request music exclusively through Siri and It has a cost of 4.99 euros per month.

Unlike the standard Apple Music plan, which costs at least double, the voice plan cannot be managed through the app mentioned above. Also, it does not support offline music, spatial audio, and song lyrics; only grants access to Vast catalog of songs from Apple Music and Music Radio.

This is so since the plan is more oriented to be enjoyed on devices such as the HomePod Mini or AirPods Mini instead of the iPhone; so it is natural that it omits features that we normally cannot take advantage of in these Apple products.

What does the Apple Music voice plan offer?

The Apple Music voice plan it only provides access to the platform’s songs, playlists, and albums. In addition, to request music it is mandatory to resort to Siri.

For this end Apple has created different playlists in recent months to serve users of this plan, which respond to the different voice requests that users may make. In this sense, we will find categories that respond to moods and activities, such as: Happy, Romantic, Work, Study, Driving, Exercise, among others. There are a total of 250 and they are fully optimized for service.

Said that, voice plan is now available in 17 countries and regions, including Spain, Mexico and the United States.
